Our dislocated look this week is for Marcel Giró, a Spaniard who comes to Brazil in the 1950's and begins to take an interest in photography, was also one of the pioneers of advertising photography in the country. Giró, a figure present in Foto Clube Bandeirantes in São Paulo, presents a singular proposal regarding the nature and the possibilities of displacement that appear in the daily space. His work is characterized by a strong freedom in the registration of forms, his experiments vary from the geometry of cities to the organic forms found in the fauna and flora of the city of São Paulo and the places he visited.
