Time displaced - Michael Wesely

Michael Wesely is a German photographer who specializes in great exposure times. Born in Munich, he graduated in photography from the Bayerische Staatslehranstalt für Photographie and the Munich Academy of Fine Arts, and for more than two decades has developed his methods of long expositions. Wesely's images are nothing short of instantaneous, long, not lasting for hours and minutes, but for years. From the use of filters and a small aperture (f.508) of exposure, Wesely presents a long record in his images, reflects on a time that is more of the video and the cinema and how it would present in a single frame
